This policy explains what personal data we collect through ignitetrading.ai and the Ignite Hub, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Ignite operates ignitetrading.ai and the Ignite Hub. We act as an intermediary that connects traders with a partner broker and delivers trading signals, AI trade analysis, and community tools.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we process when you:
- visit ignitetrading.ai
- create an Ignite Hub account
- connect a read-only investor password for trade analysis
- receive signals or messages through Telegram
- use Sparkie, the journal, alerts, live calls, or other Hub features
It does not cover the broker you choose to trade with, Telegram, or any other third party. Those parties have their own privacy policies, and you should read them.
3. The data we collect
Account data. When you sign up, we collect your name and email address.
Login and authentication data. We use a third-party identity provider, Clerk.com, to manage your login and credentials. Your sign-in details are handled by Clerk.com on our behalf.
Read-only investor password (optional). If you choose to connect your trading account to the Hub for trade analysis, you provide a read-only investor password. This is optional, and section 5 explains exactly how we treat it.
Trading and analysis data. If you connect your account, we process data about your trades, such as entries, exits, position sizes, profit and loss, and behaviour patterns, so that Sparkie and the Hub can review your trading and surface habits.
Communications data. If you connect Telegram to receive signals, we may process your Telegram handle or ID. We also keep records of messages you send us.
Technical and usage data. We collect standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and how you use the site. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, explained in our Cookies Policy.
We do not collect payment card details on this site. You never pay Ignite directly.
4. How we use your data, and our lawful bases
We use your data for the purposes below. Where UK or EU data protection law applies, our lawful basis is shown in brackets.
- To create and run your Hub account, and to provide signals, analysis and tools [performance of a contract].
- To connect you to our partner broker through our referral link, and to confirm eligibility for full access [performance of a contract, legitimate interests].
- To analyse your trades and coach your habits through Sparkie and the Hub, where you have chosen to connect your account [consent].
- To send you service messages about your account and the tools [legitimate interests].
- To send you marketing or educational emails, where you have agreed [consent]. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations [legitimate interests, legal obligation].
- To measure and improve the site using analytics [consent, where required].
5. Your read-only investor password
This is the most sensitive data we handle, so we want to be completely clear about it.
- Connecting an investor password is optional. The Hub works without it. You simply will not get personalised trade analysis.
- An investor password is view-only. It lets the Hub see your account and trade history so they can be analysed. It cannot be used to place or close trades, change any setting, move funds, or make a withdrawal. If it were ever exposed, no one could trade your account or take your money with it.
- We use it only to read your trading data so that Sparkie and the Hub can review your trades and coach your habits.
- The read-only connection is handled through MetaApi and held securely.
- You can disconnect your account and remove the password at any time from your Hub settings, or by emailing us. You can also change the password with your broker, which immediately ends the connection.
6. Who we share your data with
We share data only where needed to run the service. We do not sell your data.
- Clerk.com provides login and identity management, and processes your sign-in data on our behalf.
- Our partner broker. When you choose to open and fund an account, we connect you through our referral link, and the broker may report your trading volume back to us so the rebate that keeps Ignite free can be calculated.
- MetaApi enables the read-only connection used for trade analysis, where you connect your account.
- Telegram delivers signals and messages, where you connect it.
- Hosting, email and analytics providers that help us run the site.
- Authorities or advisers, where we are required to by law.
We put data processing terms in place with the providers that handle data on our behalf.
7. International transfers
Some of the providers above may process your data outside your country, including outside the UK or EEA. Where that happens and UK or EU law applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your data only as long as we need it.
- Account data: while your account is active, then up to 12 months after you close it.
- Trade and analysis data: while your account is connected, then up to 12 months.
- Investor password connection: until you disconnect, then removed within 30 days.
- Marketing data: until you opt out.
When we no longer need data, we delete it or anonymise it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- object to or restrict how we use it
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
- ask for a copy of your data in a portable format
- complain to a data protection regulator
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time the law allows.
If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are in the EU, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. These include access controls, encryption of data in transit, and holding any read-only connection credentials through our secure connection provider rather than in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit who can access it.
11. Age
Ignite and the partner broker are for adults only. You must be at least 18 to create an account or trade. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know. Please check back so you know how we handle your data.
